Hi! Welcome to our website! My name is Karen. My daughter-in-law Christine and I raise AKC eligible miniature dachshund puppies in an assortment of colors and patterns. We breed for conformation, disposition, personality and beauty, and we choose our breeding dogs carefully to those ends. We want our puppies to be free from serious and/or life-threatening genetic defects so that when they are adopted into your homes they will be as trouble-free as possible for years to come.
We love whelping day because we never know for sure what each litter will produce. In the same litter we could have solids, piebalds and dapples, with smooth or long hair coats. And, as different as
their patterns and hair coats, so are their personalities. Each and every one of our beloved mamas and papas has his/her own personality and disposition. The same is true of all the pups. It's easy to see early on how each individual puppy will be and how they will complement their future home!
We love our mamas and papas and we also love our new puppies. As with the adults, they are all raised in our home, and handled daily by people of all ages. They learn to live and be around the other animals of the farm as well. If they so desire, they have a great yard to run and romp in outside through all seasons of the year. Yes, our dachshunds do love snow! And when the weather gets too cold, a cozy warm home awaits with nice laps to sit upon.
It is our hope that you find a puppy that speaks to your heart and you will give him/her a loving, lifetime home. They are ALL precious to us and we desire a long, happy life for them.
